Saniflo 007 Review: We installed this in a basement with a sewer pipe running above the floor a few inches. We built a small platform about 15 inches off the floor and then using rubber adapters and PVC pipe ran drain pipe from the toilet to a cut end of the sewer pipe. We maintained a five inch drop which has worked well. We also added a back flow preventer for added protection against sewer water coming back in during heavy rain periods.
