Panasonic FV-08VK1 Review: I replaced a 25 year old fan with this model as part of a bathroom remodel job.It's pretty quiet; which is what I was looking for. You turn it on and about 5 seconds later you hear a background whispering whir. Conversation is not a problem and you should be able to hear the phone ring through the bathroom door.For background information; I have a Panasonic through the wall fan rated at 1.2 sones that's also pretty quiet.
